Basement services in Lynn
Basement Waterproofing
A wet basement usually has a specific cause: gutters and grading sending water at the foundation, cracks, a high water table, or water coming in where the floor meets the wall.
Foundation Crack Repair
Most foundation cracks in poured concrete are shrinkage cracks that leak but are not structural.
Crawl Space Encapsulation
Crawl spaces under additions, porches, and older homes are often damp, with bare soil, wet insulation, and musty air that moves into the house.
Sump Pump Installation
A sump pump moves water collected under or around the basement floor to the outside.
French Drains
A French drain is a gravel-filled trench with a perforated pipe that collects groundwater or surface water and carries it away.

Why basement water matters
Water that keeps getting into a basement damages walls, floors, and belongings, and damp basements are a common place for mold. Most homeowners policies also do not cover flood damage, according to FEMA.
